Video is a powerful medium for bringing relevant, engaging information into the classroom. YouTube enables students to experience events, people, and concepts that may otherwise be inaccessible. In this workshop, educators will explore how to responsibly access and curate quality video content and will also develop the skills needed to create educational videos for instruction, remediation, and student demonstration of learning.
This course supports state standards for digital literacy and technology integration, including Common Core's emphasis on multimedia and digital citizenship. It aligns with ISTE Standards for Educators, particularly in the areas of Facilitator, Designer, and Citizen.
