The CA Teaching Pyramid for Early Elementary is an inclusive, comprehensive approach and framework of evidence-based practices designed to help educators promote social-emotional competence, address challenging behavior in children, and develop safe and nurturing classroom environments within a positive school climate. The framework promotes resiliency among teachers, supports trauma-informed practices, addresses continuity of care, and honors the needs of the whole child.
