This course was a lot of work. I feel like I did more assignments for this than I did for my entire graduate program. If you are interested in running an online course, it IS a lot of work, and this will provide you with a good framework to do so.

Great course!...I learned so much about online teaching and learning best practices...That's what this course is really about. Moodle is just the delivery system...But I'm confident that I can take the knowledge and best practices I acquired in this course and apply them to any course management system.

I was very happy with this course. I have been using Moodle for over 5 years so I was worried that this might be very boring and easy for me. That was not the case at all. I learned quite a bit and expanded my knowledge of Moodle and what it can do. There was almost no busy work and all the assignments were very relevant. The best part was that you can really just use your own class moodle for all the assignments so the work you are doing can actually be used in your own classroom.

I really enjoyed this course. I was able to not only learn about a new classroom technology, but was also able to use it in my classroom immediately. I can also constantly add/change to the Moodle I have created.

I enjoyed the course, but there was more I learned about online teaching instead of primarily Moodle. Through the projects and assignments, I did learn how to use Moodle. The main thing I learned from the course is that this is a spring board for using Moodle. The tools are introduced for you to get familiar with, but the real fine tuning comes from using it in your own courses.

I appreciate Mary's feedback. The course was very difficult for me and many times I wasn't sure my work would meet her expectations but she was always willing to answer questions and help. I would simply suggest offering examples of competent assignments in an effort to help struggling student visualize.

Course was time consuming, but comparing this course to my in-service at school, it was ten times better. You will learn everything you will need to make a Moodle course and be comfortable with program. Just give yourself enough time to get everything done.
