The course was well-planned and kept me engaged in the subject matter. he Instructor was very supportive and encouraging and kept me motivated to continue with the course work. The assignments were well-thought out and provided us with many opportunities to integrate theory research and practice. Although I have had a lot of experience in writing objectives, the idea of using backward design in developing lesson plans was a great opportunity for me to think differently and creatively. The instructor provided many examples for us. For instance, I had never developed a rubric before. Providing the rubric that was based on the objectives really made to think about the levels of proficiency I wanted to see in my students. This course entailed learning a lot of information. But I feel that it represented graduate work, and we had adequate time to complete all the assignments. In term of technology, perhaps additional free tools and those geared towards higher education would be helpful. Many were geared towards grades K-12 or were subsidized by various School Districts. Overall, this course provided me with a great foundation for starting to teach online. I am looking forward to taking other courses with this extremely competent instructor.

I loved this course and felt that the expectations were very reasonable. My favorite part of the course was that it was mostly project-based, which I feel helped me really work through and apply the information I learned in the course.

I thoroughly enjoyed this course. The materials were extremely organized and clear to follow. Each module had meaningful content that could be used in every classroom. The activities allowed for each person to create a product that was unique to their current position. The final products could be used in our daily instruction.

I enjoyed this course. It was completely online and flexible.There were a lot of external resources linked from this course. I finally feel my work these past few years has been validated. It was good to receive feedback from my instructor. I would have loved to have one or two sessions at least with my peers and instructors. It felt a bit lonely at times.
