This course was unlike any of the other courses that I have taken for me because it was a subject area that I knew the least about. Candi did a great job to make the modules engaging and her feedback was helpful. Everything I learned in this course will have an immediate impact on student learning in my classroom.

Overall an excellent course. I was very unfamiliar with data literacy beyond my own requirements to be effective as a special educator. I now feel I have good foundations to examine when students are struggling with data in our high school science contexts, as well as some keen suggestions for my co-teachers to improve the classrooms we share for next year!

I am overwhelmed in the best way possible with resources I now have access to that were offered in this course. "Developing Data-Literate Students" has helped me understand how to teach life skills that I should have been doing for years but wasn't really sure how. I also have earned my STEM certification while getting access to so many resources I can instantly use in my classroom (either online or face-to-face). I wish I would have completed this course sooner in my career, but I can't wait to pass on what I have learned to other teachers in my district (maybe they will take this course, too)!
