The readings and assignments were well-linked to the course objectives. The assignments were manageable and helped me reflect on the role of robots as a teaching tool and a way to engage students in STEAM education. At the start of the course, there were not many peers enrolled, so the discussions were tough, but as time went on this improved. I would have enjoyed more rigorous discussions.

I felt that it was great for teachers that are starting a robotics program. I was hoping for more of curriculum development and help on how what to teach and in what order. Overall, the course was well constructed and gave some great resources for finding bots and free curriculum.

In this course, I had the opportunity to explore a variety of robotics programs (both virtual and physical) and learn about different robotics competitions my students can compete in. I feel confident that I can learn and teach robotics now!

I took this course wanting to learn about Lego Mindstorms and First Lego League, but I learned so much more. I had no idea how broad robotics was, and how much more there is to it than design challenges and competitions. Inspiring!

I learned a lot about the various types of robots, ways to program them, and how to understand the intended educational purpose in each design or coding language offered. This helped me to I feel good about the choice of robot that I made for my classroom because it has a lot of different capabilities and is much less expensive then many robotics programs.

This is a fantastic class that walks you through the importance of integrating robotics into your classroom. Moodle made it very easy and the course was full of videos, lessons, and tutorials. The instructor was very helpful. This is the second course I’ve taken through him.Take this class! You won’t regret it.
