SOC 934 "Our National Parks" was a wonderful class! It gave me fantastic resources and a deeper understanding of the park service from its inception to present day. The park links have information, pictures and videos with lesson plans and timelines all developed by professionals and easily adaptable for student use. My colleague and I spent many enjoyable hours learning and discussing people, events, and locations with historical significance. Mary was fantastic and supportive! Thank you!

This course was fun and very valuable in today's society. In a time where many are questioning the value of government, it is nice to be able to get away from it all and go to a national park and be at one with nature. As FDR once said, "There is nothing so American as our national parks." The course was very manageable and step by step instructions were very easy to follow. Any questions regarding the coursework was met with an immediate response. Highly recommend this class. Thank you.
