This is another fantastic class on California's history from a thoughtful instructor. The lessons are thought-provoking, informative, and never just busy work. The amount of work is appropriate for the 3 units. If you are interested in California's history, take this class. I learned a lot of useful information to use in my classroom.

The sound quality is low on all of the CDs and very difficult to listen to on disc one. That is my only qualm with this course. Otherwise it is beyond excellent.

The class was interesting and I learned a lot about Monterey. There is a substantial amount of work involved but it was all relevant and worth the time involved. I enjoyed my many trips to Monterey and made it all enjoyable.

Very enjoyable and instructive course! Extremely well coordinated in so far as visitations and content combined with the CD experience. Not an overly expensive course to take when visiting the Monterey and Carmel areas and all visitation stops were available with just a couple of exceptions so long as you made your visits on weekends, only, due to budget cuts in California. Be absolutely sure to check with the State's website for Monterey SHP (state historic park) for current updates and phone numbers before heading to the coast! Funding cuts can have quick impacts!
