I really enjoyed this class and the push it gave me to incorporate hands on activities with a focus on Ecology and Pollution. I had the freedom to modify and write lessons that worked well with my High School students in Biology and Health classes.

My students this year are an very kind and thoughtful group of kids. They love the Earth and long to take good care of it. They would ask me daily what experiment we were going to do and if I could do another science lab. They enjoyed the hands-on, thought provoking lessons this class provided. I appreciate Mr. Harms. He always does a great job creating quality lessons that can be directly applied to the classroom.

The 2019-20 school year will definitely be one that I will not soon forget. Due to Covid 19, I was forced to move to an online platform and teach my students in a very untraditional way. I resorted to searching the web and using all of the online resources available to me to come up with meaningful activities for my students. Using the suggested activities & experiments in this course was a life saver! I was able to incorporate so many hands on experiences for my class to do in their own homes and outside in nature! I’m so proud of my students who adjusted and were able to navigate their new Google Classroom so well(quite a remarkable feat for 9 & 10yr olds! Marvin Harms is wonderful!
