This is another class that I have enjoyed taking from Fresno. I am a busy teacher and mom and find this class flexible and worth my time to help with classroom ideas to encourage different ways to get concepts across to my students. I have taken a few of these courses and plan on taking more!

SCI-905 Earth Science was another amazing hands-on class that my students not only enjoyed but actually learned. They loved coming to class everyday excited to see what kind of experiment we were going to do. The fact that these classes get our students excited about learning is awesome. I would highly recommend this class to any teacher who wants to spice up their science class.

I appreciate the independent study, especially I can work on my schedule. I have learned about different teaching styles and approaches for instruction and enjoyed their creative lessons. I really enjoyed this course. You will come away from this course with numerous labs and activities to use in your classroom. Many of the activities include modifications as well, which is extremely helpful. This has been one of the most useful classes I have ever taken and I really enjoyed it. The best part is that these labs can be done with materials that are easy to find or that you probably already have in your classroom. I absolutely loved this course! As a homeschool mom, I was able to incorporate the 15 experiments into my children's homeschool curriculum, and we all loved it! My boys now have a science journal that I will laminate and add pictures to, and this will act as a "yearbook" to remember their science journey this year. The experiments are fun, easy, and relevant for the classroom. I can see my former students really enjoying these experiments just like my own kids did. The professor is wonderful, and I highly recommend the course.

Taking the course SCI 905 I gained more information to enhance the curriculum in my classroom. The experiments that Mr. Harms provided in his course are well organized and easy to follow up. The students were engaged, have fun, and had an excellent outcome. Young children gain scientific knowledge throughout expose, they develop their abilities with hands-on activities using their five senses.
