This course yielded one of the best assessment tools I have seen for CV fitness- I implemented the Rockport Fitness Test into all my classes and had students gather and assess their own data. They were so excited about it. I took it a step further and went on to calculate vital capacities. Kids were intrigued because they could connect this learning to their own personal lives. It was awesome!!

Awesome course to take! Helps you to get moving along with setting personally goals but also allows you to develop a walking fitness unit for your PE class. I enjoyed this course because, although I had a regular walking routine, this course allowed me to explore walking from a more analytical perspective. I benefitted from tracking my walking, fitness, and nutritional data, which has had a lasting effect and a positive effect on my daily routine. I have been able to share this information with my students, and some students have become more physically active as a result. I have recommended this course to my colleagues as well.
