Recreational Mathematics for the Classroom was a worthwhile course. I appreciate that Mrs. Reimer is always encouraging and supportive. This is the second course I have taken from her, and hope to take more from her in the future. The only thing I would change is not to have ten activities in Lesson 4.1, but perhaps five activities that they could apply immediately to their lesson plans.

Posting our work and replying to other's submissions was a great way to engage and process different ideas. I really grew to like how we posted our grade level in the subject heading of our posts... it was such a great resource to be able to scroll through all of the posts and stay focused on what others thought were quality tasks for high school as well. A great way to divide & conquer and share what we each found of value.

It has been a challenge getting anything completed outside of teaching this year. There really isn't a lot of materials readily available on the topic. I'm so used to finding what I need instantly in this internet driven age... so I needed to look harder and come up with some of my own ideas. Collaboration on these ideas has been good for me over the last several months. My co-teacher loves the little brain teaser type puzzle or patterns that I prepare for kids to do in the first 5 or so minutes of class. That's all a result of this course. Thanks for the opportunity to explore and be challenged.

This was a fun class! I learned about a lot of new activities that I can use in my classroom to make math fun for the students. There were many activities that will 'hook' the students in and make them want to come to class. It was great being able to work at my own pace and to be able to check in with the professor when needed. I would highly recommend the class .

I have enjoyed all of Mr. Wilbert Reimer's courses. I am glad that I saved "Recreational Mathematics for the Classroom" for last because "math IS fun"!!! The activities included in this course are phenomenal. I hope that Instructor Wil Reimer creates more of these courses. He is highly recommended to other teachers in our school district. Instructor Reimer exceeds five stars!!!

I've been teaching mathematics for over 16 years, and this course, and all of the courses that I've taken with Wil Reimer have helped me enliven and refresh my approach.I teach high school students during the regular school year and younger students during the summer, and I've been able to utilize everything that I've learned in both settings.
