I enjoyed the assignments given in this class. It was an eye opening experience for me and allowed me to examine my pedagogical style. I will definitely be using the strategies presented to me in this course. Mary Bennett is helpful and encouraging. I would give the class a 4.5 out of 5 only because several links in the MAT Course of Study document are no longer accurate/current, otherwise, it was a great class.

This course was a lot of fun and fit perfectly into my classroom this year. I had timely interaction with the instructor early on, but have not heard from her since. I sent her my first two assignments as required, but never received a response. I send her a follow up email a few weeks later, nothing. It would have been nice to have some feedback on my first 2 assignments.

This course was similar to ones I have taken in the past. Some of the links expired. This course required a lot of my own research and use of internet savy, than actually reading carefully chosen articles by the professor.

Very useful intermediate math activities that can be use right away. Only problem is with the new Common Core Learning Standards, the activities are a little below the standards. However, they can easily be adapted to work with nearly any grade level.

I found the course interesting and beneficial. Constant reference to the math standards was positive as it helped to keep me on track and give me the confidence that I was covering the required curriculum. I found the assignment on the article review so helpful and enlightening that I wonder if students would benefit greater from more article reviews and less reflections? The reflections sometimes felt redundant.
