I thoroughly enjoyed reading different stories (and genres) from different American authors. Prof. Reimer-Pare took the time to provide me feedback and clarify doubts when requested. I am grateful for her guidance and assistance. I am also thankful for the extension provided by the university and the good wishes sent by the staff when I shared that I was going to take the Praxis test a few months ago.

This was a great course! It's deceptively simple--read stories and respond, but it requires some thoughtful reflection on the short stories selected and it's an opportunity to look at those stories from the perspective of a student--always a useful technique for a teacher. I enjoyed the reading and the way the class is 100% self motivated. I also had several questions, which were answered promptly by the instructor.

I learned a lot but would have learned more if there was an on-line chat. Good selection of stories.

I did not want to press the first star as my rating.I wanted to press the 4th star but could not change it. This was a great course from Miss Reimer.
