Prior to taking this course, I only used Kahoot! as a quiz-based review activity. Now, not only do I have better and more engaging quizzes for my class, but I also have some ice breakers, as well as a Kahoot! to use with families for our Back to School Night event! I can't wait to use the resources I've made.

The professor was nice and approachable, and you can tell he's really enthusiastic about the content. He definitely just wants you to learn something new. However, some of the directions were confusing to follow. It was a little unclear how Module 5 really connected to Kahoot directly. There were also a few assignments where you had to e-mail 20 colleagues or post on social media.

While I found all of the assignments, videos, and readings to be useful, I did not like that I was asked to post so many papers and links back to Fresno Pacific on my social media accounts. I consider my social media pages to be for personal use, not professional. You did have the option to e-mail 20 other colleagues instead of posting to social media for a few of the assignments.

The material in this course is concise and clearly presented, and the assignments are easy to complete and very reasonable. The teacher shows genuine interest to help and answer any questions. He always responded in a timely manner and gave excellent feedback after assignments were submitted. The course is very practical and allows the student to understand the foundations and mechanics of Kahoot! Understanding the reasons why Kahoot! was created, how it works and how it improves education in general, motivates the student to implement and try Kahoot! in the classroom right away. The course provides a comprehensive learning experience that can be immediately implemented in the classroom.

I got more out of this course than I had expected. Not only did I learn about the different ways to make a Kahoot! and the things you can add, like videos, I also learned that there are so many more ways to use Kahoot! in the classroom than just playing a fun game. A wonderful course to take to learn about using Kahoot in other ways than just the typical game format. This helped to shed some light on having our students create their own Kahoots to share with others. It made me think out of the box for other ways it could be used than what I was currently doing. I had used Kahoot! for 3 years before taking this class. I did not think I had much more to learn. I was wrong. I am delighted to introduce Blind Kahoot! and Ghost Mode to my students. In Blind Kahoot! I am able to introduce new material so my students can learn in an engaging way. Ghost Mode brings a competitive edge to an already motivating game. My professor is very approachable and he was insightful with his feedback to my work. Altogether it was a very rewarding and challenging experience. Kahootos to you!

This class was simple but very informative and practical. I didn’t love that I had to post stuff to my personal social media accounts, and sometime I wasn’t sure how I was supposed to submit specific assignments. But Brian was very flexible and available to help me navigate. All in all, I am looking forward to using what I learned in my classroom.
