I found this class to be informative and organized with a diverse array of assignments to complete and a text that should be on the bookshelf of every high school English teacher. The professor provided helpful feedback as I proceeded through the course.

I loved this class. Out of all of the required reading I have ever had in higher education, Edith Hamilton's "Mythology, Timeless Tales of Gods and Heroes" was the best!!! Taking "Introduction to Classical Mythology" took my back to my middle school obsession with Greek and Roman mythology. The projects were entertaining and informative, and I loved sharing what I learned with my son and niece, who are obsessed with all things Percy Jackson, and my daughter who always loves to chat about what I am learning in my courses and who is also a fan of Rick Riordan. Mythology and the way it develops within cultures and overlaps across land and sea is fascinating.

This course reminded me of the magic of mythology. It provided me with opportunities to read about myths that I learned about back in middle school and also provided a variety of assignments and activities that I would be able to incorporate into my fourth grade classroom. I really enjoyed myself.

I have loved taking classes from FPU. The mythology course was exceptional. The various activities were challenging but educational. I loved the fact that I had to do a variety of activities including Power Points, Cloze reading, and drawing. I feel well prepared to teach a mythology class now. I also loved the fact that this was a class that anyone can benefit from not just English Language Arts teachers.

I enjoyed and learned on a much deeper level of Myth 101. High accountability to build a foundation and to apply current standards.
