I would highly recommend this class, especially for TK teachers. I was able to dive deeper into the framework and foundations, as well as learn about new and helpful resources. Dr. Frisby was very responsive and the course was an easy to follow format. I will definitely be taking another course from her.

I learned a lot from this course. It provides a clear understanding of the TK guiding documents and, more importantly, shows how to apply them in real classroom settings. The connections between observation, best practices, and social-emotional development made the learning practical and meaningful. I feel much more confident in designing developmentally appropriate instruction because of this course.

I really enjoyed diving into the guiding documents for early childhood education. I am an elementary school teacher, but have not taught younger than third grade. I also am a mother to a nine month old (which makes me more fascinated in the early years). I found all the information extremely relevant and useful.
