Participants will explore principles of student-centered support, relationship building, social-emotional learning, trauma-informed practices, and positive approaches to addressing challenging behaviors and student needs.
Through this professional development, educators will strengthen their ability to recognize and respond to student stress, grief, loss, family changes, bullying, aggression, and other challenges that can affect learning and well-being. Participants will also develop strategies for effective communication with students and families, peer mentoring, student leadership, group support, career and college readiness, and creating a culture where students feel connected and empowered to succeed.
The certificate emphasizes practical, immediately applicable approaches that help educators build stronger relationships, promote resilience, encourage student success, and create safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environments. Participants will leave with tools and perspectives they can apply directly in their classrooms, counseling practices, and school communities.
