4/27/19 - No matter how experienced a teacher is, he/she will always run into difficult situations with students. It may be a chatty child who just won't raise his hand, a child with anger issues, or a child who refuses to engage, but we all have children in our classes who we find difficult to handle. We're here to investigate ways to handle those 'special' children. While most teachers are comfortable with the course content of what they are teaching, many do not feel they have been prepared in 'how' to teach. Especially lacking is how to manage a classroom (how to handle absenteeism, tardiness, and cheating, difficult students; how to set classroom expectations; how to write an effective management plan).
