Seminary Programs and Offerings for Non-Degree Students

Exciting New Non-Degree Programs from FPU Seminary

“Though it cost all you have, get understanding.” (Proverbs 4:7)

The good news is getting understanding from Fresno Pacific Biblical Seminary will not cost all you have!

We are opening some seminary classes -- and creating additional ones – to anyone seeking to know more about God or the Bible.  We recognize that not everyone is seeking a Master's Degree, but rather learning together with others about what God is saying. You want to explore the Bible, theology, or spiritual disciplines in a community.

I am Sharon Tan, the Dean of Fresno Pacific Biblical Seminary.  My first career was as a lawyer, and I am still a member of the Georgia and Missouri bar associations.  At a time in my life when I was asking what God wanted for my life, I thought I had to earn a PhD in religion to find the answer. Getting a PhD is not a bad thing, but it is possible that with access to good continuing education, I may have decided to remain a lawyer.

There are very real reasons to get a bachelor's or a master's degree, and if you don’t already have one, I strongly urge you to.  Here are links to our undergraduate, graduate, degree completion and seminary degree programs. But there is now a way to get theological and biblical wisdom if you do not need a degree in theology. If you are simply looking to upgrade what you know about God, theology, Bible, and Christianity, you are at the right place.  (BTW these upgrades do have a pathway to a degree, just in case you might want one in the future).

Joining a continuing education class is not simply “head knowledge.”  When you join a class, you also form friendships with the instructors and other students, deepen your relationship with God, and increase your creativity for ministry. This is at the core of what we are doing here at Fresno Pacific Biblical Seminary – growing in our relationships with God and following Jesus to shape the future.

We are constantly refreshing this website with new offerings, so please come back often to see what we are up to next.
