Innovative Educator Certificate

Fresno Pacific University Continuing Education has partnered with CUE, an 8000 member educational non-profit, to offer the Innovative Educator Certificate (IEC). This 6-month Cohort is led by top-flight educators that comprise some of the most energetic, innovative educational thinkers available. The IEC Instructors include Apple Distinguished Educators, Google Certified Innovators, and veteran CUE Rock Star Faculty members. The IEC instruction provides the best access to state-of-the-art tools and mindsets for 1:1, edtech and PBL styled learning.
IEC participants will be able to earn a Google Educator Level 1 Certificate and will spend time working in Google Classroom, leveraging all of the collaborative and creative power of Google Apps for Education for this graduate-level certificate program.

Participants must have access to an iPad, Android, or other tablets. The tablet is not included in the registration price.

NOTE: Completion of this Certificate (15-18 units) transfers as 9 units into the FPU Curriculum and Teaching Online Master's Degree Program.

How do I get started?

Register for the Innovative Educator Certificate program (CITEC-900) which includes the Introduction and the 4 required courses (CITEC 901-905). After you have completed the CITEC 900 - Introduction to Innovator Educators course, register separately for 3 elective courses from the list below.

How do I obtain the certificate?

  1. Complete the Innovative Educator Certificate program which includes 5 required courses and 3 elective courses.
  2. Request application form by emailing or by calling 800-372-5505.
  3. Upon receipt of the completed application form, and verification of successful completion of the 18 units, the certificate is awarded and posted to the participant’s transcript.

NOTE: These courses do not fulfill the computer requirements for the California Clear Credential.
