Creating a learning environment that supports the development of understanding math concepts for our young learners is as critical as the choice of curriculum expectations. This course is designed for second and third grade teachers. The course focuses on subtraction with regrouping. All of the manipulative materials and activities included in this class have been developed to provide teachers with concrete, pictorial, and abstract experiences in subtraction to help students construct an understanding of subtraction.
