Overall, I found this course helpful. The course documents and assignments allowed me to review aspects of how to use an interactive whiteboard in my classroom and introduced me to new strategies and resources. I would definitely recommend this course for any educator that is new to using interactive whiteboards or that has had one for awhile and is looking to find new resources and tools.

This course is definitely geared more towards users of SmartBoards, more so than any other brand of an interactive whiteboards. I found a large portion of it not as helpful as I would have liked being that I use a different style and was unable to relate to a large percentage of this course.

This course by Linda Jacobsen, TEC 954 Interactive Whiteboards, was great. I learned how to create flipcharts for the Promethean board and found several internet sites to use with it as well.

This course challenged me where I needed it. My school is starting a technology initiative that includes placing a interactive whiteboard in each elementary classroom. Needless to say, the expectation on teachers to embrace this technology is high. By taking this course I have become encouraged that I can be a positive influence on the students in my classroom using technology and stimulating creativity.

I've learned so much about how to prepare whiteboard lessons and the value of using them with my class. I would recommend this course to anyone that is using or considering using a whiteboard in their classroom.

Course was very good, but would be more effective if taught through an online interactive forum, such as Moodle. Working through things piece by piece and having interaction with other resources, the instructor, and other colleagues would be beneficial. Some more up to date resources would be helpful, also. All in all, though, it was a great course and Linda was fantastic. She responded quickly to all communication and answered all questions. I would definitely recommend her as an instructor!

I loved doing the Interactive Whiteboard class! It was great to do it over the summer and be able to get lessons ready for the beginning of the year. I have taken several classes through FSU and am getting ready to start another one to finish this summer. It makes the school year go a lot better when my classes get done on my time!!
