My experience with completing the course on-line has been good. My experience requesting a grade does not seem to match up with the instructions in the course as to how to do that, and I am concerned that my coursework may not be graded in a timely manner if I can not contact the instructor.

Very interesting course. I loved the DVD that was provided. I brought to life the material that was in the book. The book was a bit technical in the reading. The website/web-filed trip was awesome. I can really use that in my classroom. I was amazed at the live-web cams.

I thoroughly enjoyed this class. It was a great introduction into the world of oceanography! As a first year teacher in oceanography, I found the course to be interesting and extremely helpful in planning my new semester class. I will continue to use the Sanctuary website and so will my students. My only regret is that I can't make it out to Monterey Bay to visit the aquarium and sanctuary in person!
