Well organized and and put together class, which I took a lot out from and will be implementing many new ideas into my classes. Professor Reimer always gave very thoughtful and insightful feedback and grading all assignments very quickly.

MAT-934 Culturally Responsive Mathematics Teaching is an enlightening, informative class that will give you lots resources for doing the hard work of becoming a CRT. The course is well-organized and assignments are manageable and relevant to the subject. I found the community walk and implicit bias assignments particularly rewarding in terms of my personal growth as an instructor. Ms. Reimer is a clear communicator, prompt with feedback, and a tremendous resource.

There were a lot of really helpful resources in this course and while at times, I felt there was too much, I found it all really helpful and in the end appreciate the time spent on the readings and activities. It was well-organized, flowed well - the units led nicely from one to the next. Thank you for a great course!

Everything about the course was great. There were a variety of great resources of information that varied in content and were not from the same types of sources, which is what I appreciate. I learned a lot, she gave very personalized feedback which I appreciate as well. She graded everything and responded to questions super timely. I can tell she truly cares about her students, content, and their learning of it.

This class had some longer assignments but I think it was totally worth it. It has you examining the backgrounds of where your students come from and to use that knowledge to inform your teaching.
