For Tulare CO Teachers - Proficiency I History/Social Studies. Students may earn a unit of credit for participating in fifteen hours of classes. Our Curriculum Specialists have teamed up to create an interdisciplinary Common Core training that will examine the Literacy Standards as they relate to Social Studies and ELA. Highlights of the training will be specific instruction on close reading and writing with curriculum and classroom demonstrations developed specifically for this training as well as sourcing and analyzing documents and exploring digital Social Studies resources.
