FULLY ONLINE WORKSHOP: Scaffolding questions refers to the strategic and proactive planning of a set of questions prior to a lesson that will direct the flow of instruction and guide students toward deeper understanding of a lesson objective. Scaffolding questions must tie directly to the knowledge and performances demanded by the content standards and often get successively more complex throughout the lesson. By creating a set of scaffolded questions across and within lessons, students not only see cohesion between lessons but both the educator and the student measure their understanding within each lesson.
