Great class! I loved learning about the signposts for close reading and will 100% use this strategies with my students in the future. :) I appreciated having the flexible time schedule to work at my own pace and on my own schedule. I also appreciate the practical assignments of lesson plans and lists of resources that I know I will use!

This course was really helpful to me! I love the way it was organized. The text was practical and offered helpful tips ready to implement immediately. I appreciated how responsive the professor was to my emails and questions. It was really helpful to be able to manage completion around my schedule of working full-time and raising four children. It was a great experience that I highly recommend to anyone in my position. I will be back the next time I need units for my job.

I enjoyed this class and will definitely be going back to this book. There is so much good, helpful, practical information in this book it was challenging to get it all out after the first read. This was a very good course. I'm not a reading teacher, but this has stretched my abilities and given me new tools. I will definitely use the strategies from Notice and Note in my digital video class next year. Tara Warmerdam was very kind and offered feedback when it was appropriate. I have recommended this to two other teachers because of the flexibility and the student led pace it gives you a great control over when you can participate as a busy teacher in the pandemic who has not left his classroom.
