Overall, I had a positive experience with this course. I enjoyed learning practical strategies for differentiating instruction and thinking more intentionally about the individual needs of my students. I especially appreciated being able to apply what I learned to my own classroom and lesson planning. The course helped me better understand how to provide different pathways for students to reach the same learning goals while maintaining high expectations. I feel that I gained strategies and ideas that I can continue to use in my teaching.

The course provided a strong foundation in curriculum design and differentiation, offering practical strategies to meet the diverse needs of today’s students. Discussion forums encouraged reflection and collaboration, helping refine teaching practices. The mini-unit project was especially valuable, aligning with National Board for Professional Teaching Standards and supporting high-quality lesson planning. Overall, the course blended theory and practice, making learning meaningful and immediately applicable. One negative factor of the course was that some of the material seemed outdated. A few resources and examples did not fully reflect current trends or practices in education, which made certain sections feel less relevant. Despite this, the core content and strategies for curriculum design and differentiation were still valuable and applicable.

Another well-planned and beneficial course that suited my schedule and improved my practice! Differentiation is my bread and butter as a SpEd teacher, so I had lots to share and relate to while also picking up some new perspectives and techniques!
