Teachers can begin to use these right away to improve their teaching and engage students in learning. The instructor is organized and supportive. The lessons build on each other. The lessons are directly applicable to use in your classroom. This has been a great class for me, giving me direction on HOW to be a more effective teacher.

First off, this book is a MUST READ for any educator! This class really amplified and helped you dig deeper into the book. I loved reading about what other educators are doing in their classes. Terrific! Loved it! If you're not sure whether or not this course is worth it, I promise it'll get your creative juices flowing. You don't have to be a crazy extrovert who dresses up and jumps on desks to pass this class - but you might end up doing that anyway after reading the book! Professor responds quickly and is thoughtful - coursework is well planned out and reasonable. 5/5 recommend.

The one thing that I have learned from this class is that as a teacher it is ok to fail and once you do fail you learn from the feedback. This class allowed me to pull from my previous experiences in and outside the classroom. It allowed me to recall positive moments in my career that I had forgotten about. It also reminded me that in today's world I am making a difference and that we need to remember those small victories (and maybe it may take several of those small victories) on the days when we feel as if we are losing the war. This was a class I needed to return to months later to remind me to continue to reload (my enthusiasm and creativity) and carry on as each day is a new beginning not just for myself, but for my students as well.
