I love education because it gives people the freedom to be able, to be capable of doing things they could never do before. Before retirement, in my own classroom I saw teenagers teaching other teenagers effectively. They used the thinking skills they had been taught and benefited from the valued principles. Teaching is all about learning relationships that give people the freedom to be able.

Because of this outlook my courses help build the learning relationships between my students and their pupils, and among their peers as well. Watch your students learn to think for themselves based upon values they attach to principles of relationship and the thinking skills of Bloom’s Taxonomy. I see my role not so much an instructor, but as a coach. Be the influence to help students think for themselves!
