Jeromy Winter

I am passionate about teaching reading and writing to youngstudents using authentic methods, and have a strong pedagogical foundation in teaching language arts. I have been teaching at the elementary school level for 10 years, as well as providing workshops for teachers in the area of writing. Keeping up with technology advancements in education, I am proud to offer California history courses to adult learners through the Center for Professional Development at Fresno Pacific University.

I believe in teaching teachers techniques that will interest and engage their students, and these courses give teachers experiences they can implement in their own classrooms. Aligned to California History Standards and the new Core Standards for teaching, teachers of all grade levels will be able to match these courses with the standards they teach. In addition, teachers will find opportunities to learn about integrating California history into other areas of their instruction.
