The iPod Touch and the iPad have tremendous potential in the classroom to revolutionize the way students learn and teachers teach. The iPod Touch and the iPad are capable of viewing textbooks, videos and Internet resources (viabuilt-in WiFi). These versatile learning and teaching tools can become a calculator, a drawing pad, an interactive map or a multi-language dictionary, all with an intuitive swipe of a finger. The iPod Touch / iPad is a perfect way to integrate technology into the classroom and into the hands of students in an effective, cost-efficient manner. A unique program, developed by the instructor, simulates an iPod Touch / iPad on a PC or MAC (software included with the course materials on CD-ROM) so owning an iPod Touch or an iPad is not necessary to complete the course. Scores of apps (from the thousands available) for all grade levels and subjects are demonstrated on the simulators. Access to a computer with a CD-ROM drive is required to complete the course. All assignments may be completed without classroom participation. Instructor support is readily available by email and phone. Additional information may be found at: www.steveyoungfpu.net

NOTE: If your computer does not have a CD-ROM drive, the contents of the course CD-ROM can be delivered electronically via DropBox.
