Using a project-based approach for this Online course, students will develop a slide show that can be output as a movie file using the Photo Story 3 program. This is a free and easy program through Microsoft (Windows only) that is great to use in class. Each project is directly tied to specific ISTE National Educational Technology Standards. The course will address the ELA standards for speaking and writing as well as the content being covered. The participant will develop meaningful lessons centered on their student's needs that also meet subject matter standards and framework requirements using the Photo Story 3 program. The participants will create their own slide show based on their state standards.
