This course will explore the causes, events, policies, personalities, and human tragedy and triumph of the Great Depression in America from an interdisciplinary historical perspective that will examine economic, political, psychological, and sociological aspects of the greatest economic crisis ever faced by the United States. National Social Studies standards have been used in the design of this course and its assignments. Required learning materials, including a book and DVD, must be purchased separately.
