This balanced, in-depth study of New England Puritanism will provide educators with thematic strands from the National Social Science Curriculum Standards that deal with culture, time/continuity/change, people/places/ environment, individuals/groups/institutions, power/authority/governance, production/distribution/consumption, civic ideals and practices.
