This course is designed to provide the high school/college coach or teacher with the tools to maximize the muscular strength and power of their student athletes by applying the latest breakthroughs in scientific research to his/her advanced training program. Participants will be exposed to both proven methods for developing advanced workouts and dozens of different exercises that result in the greatest stimulation in the muscles. It provides detailed guidelines for program design, including an explanation of how to calculate training volume, intensity, rest intervals, number of exercises, and loading patterns. Participants will learn how to create workouts for optimal performance at the optimal time by manipulating six different training phases during their year-round program.
