development certificates to further enhance the instructional skills of K - 12
educators. These certificates provide high quality, standards based strategies
for educators to use as they continue to improve the academic achievement of
their students.

INNOVATIVE EDUCATORS ADVANCED STUDIES CERTIFICATE

The Center for Professional Development has partnered with Computer-Using-Educators (CUE), providers of CUEtoYOU professional development workshops, to offer an Innovative Educators Certificate upon successful completion of 18 units of online instruction.
Participants engage in an interactive online cohort within a 6 month period. Program includes an iPad or an Android tablet.

COACHING FOR EXCELLENCE & CHARACTER CERTIFICATE

Great coaches are always looking to refresh, retool and recharge their coaching insights, philosophies & strategies. These practical courses are designed to meet the professional development, continuing education, or re-certification requirements for busy coaches and teachers through online and distance learning formats. Material is presented in a way that is immediately relevant and applicable.

CERTIFICATE FOR ONLINE TEACHING

This certificate program is designed to train K-14 educators in the necessary skills to teach online effectively. Appropriate pedagogical theory, assessment and “best-practice” strategies will be explored and emphasized throughout the coursework.
Participants will gain skill in developing lessons and online activities that can be used directly with their students. The technological skills of the participant will also be enhanced through the coursework.

TECHNOLOGY SKILLS CERTIFICATE

The Center for Professional Development provides the opportunity for participants enrolled in technology courses to earn a technology skills certificate upon successful completion of 12 units of instruction from the following technology skills clusters:
- Personal Productivity Applications & Integration;
- Multimedia Applications & Webpage Design/Integration; and
- Online Distance Learning.
