STEAM Learning Institute ~ Summer 2020

Join us for a fun-filled interactive week in which participants will engage with us and each other around the joy of STEAM learning in the early childhood classroom.  During this week we will explore the overlapping ideas of play, embodied learning, and spatial understanding through the natural integration involving STEAM concepts.  Participants will design, create, and construct various STEAM-centered projects that can be used in the classroom to provide support for cross-cutting concepts and current state standards.  During this week we will intentionally develop pedagogical strategies, design implementation plans, and build a community that supports participants in introducing others to the playful art of STEAM learning.

Join us in celebrating STEAM Learning in elementary education at our STEAM Summer Institute!

The AIMS Center has instilled a love for learning math through fun and hands-on exploration. Teachers have expressed an interest for math professional development and have introduced math all-around their classrooms!”

The support and networking with the people associated with AIMS Center has been very rewarding and supportive. I have really enjoyed the sharing of ideas and innovation with a focus on child/student learning.”
