I cannot imagine a more exciting and rewarding place to work than a library. My career in the library world began as a paraprofessional in a school library where I worked for a number of years. From there, I moved into the professional realm and became the “librarian of record” for over a hundred schools. This enabled me to become familiar with school libraries, from the most basic to the highest degree of library service.
